Yung Lean - Yoshi City

So many tissue boxes are about to be raided right about now. Sad Gawd Yung Lean is set to release his album, Unknown Memory, this year, and has dropped off a video for the album’s first single, “Yoshi City.” Lean and the whole “Sad” sound are about as polarizing as you can get this side of Young Thug, but at the very least you can’t deny how incredible that production sounds. On “Yoshi City,” Lean is laced with a beat that’s woozy and warm — it’s the sonic equivalent of using a poppy plant field as your blanket.

Also, if you pay attention to the hook, it sort of resembles one of those Youtube Auto-tune remixes of memes. Coincidence? Hopefully not.
