XXL wraps up their 2014 Freshman push with the release of the cover’s corresponding mixtape. In collaboration with DJ Drama and his illustrious Gangsta Grillz series, project features contributions from all the artists included in this year’s class with the unfortunate exception of Chance The Rapper. Over the course of 21 tracks, Isaiah Rashad, Vic Mensa, Lil Durk, Lil Bibby, Rich Homie Quan, Kevin Gates, Ty Dolla $ign, August Alsina, Jon Connor, Jarren Benton and Troy Ave each showcase why they were chosen for one of the highest honors a young artist can achieve in hip-hop.
