With Pharrell Williams covering its July collector’s edition, Elle UK takes to the web to reveal its exclusive editorial with the Virginian mogul. Shot by American shutterbug Doug Inglish and styled by Alison Edmond, Williams appears in what has become his signature Vivienne Westwood hat as well as a pair of his self-designed adidas Originals Stan Smith sneakers. On a serious note however, Pharrell caught some flack earlier this month when the above image of him sporting a traditional Native American headdress surfaced on the web. The 41-year-old creative immediately released an apology stating, “I respect and honor every kind of race, background and culture. I am genuinely sorry.”
The July issue of Elle UK is currently available on newsstands around the globe.
