Whether its the home, the office, the hotel, or the studio, most every place you go has a sense of solace. Spanish editorial upstart OPENHOUSE aims to highlight the places that people live and work, as well as the stories behind them – thus underlining the publication title. This inaugural issue investigates lesser-known community institutions like Gnambox in Milan, which is an open kitchen for everyday people to record and share their favorite recipes; the Palau de Casavells, a weekend home-turned-gallery-space; and the burgeoning German fashion brand BLESS – which is still run out of its creator’s private home.
