Those gearing up for the surf season will have a handy new gadget to bring with them to the beach and anywhere else they want to track the seas from. The NIXON Marbelized Supertide comes pre-programmed with tide information for over 270 coastal regions across the world, keeping riders up-to-date with ideal wave conditions on its high-res display. It’s been tested by NIXON team riders (including John John Florence, Rob Machado, Bruce Irons and Josh Kerr) in conception, testing and fine tuning this specific watch.
Waterproof down to 100m, it features a durable 45mm stainless steel case with a hardened mineral crystal that is protected by a solid stainless steel bezel, and a custom digital module with detailed 48-hour future tide prediction that includes both tide even time and height coefficient, sunrise/sunset time details, and a countdown heat timer in addition to the typical essential alarm and light functions. The Supertide has a unique and extra durable uni-body construction, so the entire watch is housed within a single piece of ultra-comfortable custom compression molded silicone. It is then outfitted with a stainless steel buckle and patented locking looper to ensure the watch stays put no matter how big the surf is. The silicone used for the uni-body case and band construction is compression molded with six different colors creating a marbleized effect, so each piece is completely unique – no two are alike.
