20syl "Kodama" Music Video

After gracing our pages with his brand of digitized, synth-heavy jam beats last month, French producer 20syl introduces a neat new video for his “Kodama” single. The song somehow fuses layers of atmospheric warps, soulful piano chords and vocal snippets into a cohesive sonic landscape, which to the naked ear may seem impossible to split apart. The above music video gives a behind-the-scenes look at the song being built ‘live,’ showcasing the creation of each element (including the cover art).
