Nike Football Presents "The Last Game"

Nike again reminds us what exactly keeps ‘The Beautiful Game’ so beautiful with its latest commercial, dubbed “The Last Game.” The animated short imagines a time in the not-so-distant future, where professional footballers – creative, skillful, yet naturally flawed – are replaced by ‘perfect’ clones. The likes (or likenesses, rather) of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo have been forced to rely on their secondary talents, until a certain Brazilian legend coaches them to challenge for their spots. Though animated, the video is certainly charming and does well to capture the magic of watching national heroes leave everything on the field. The video comes as the latest installment of Nike’s “Risk Everything” campaign, the first part of which is viewable here. Enjoy “The Last Game” above.
