Widely recognized as a pioneer of New York’s early graffiti movement, Futura’s distinct abstract style has led him to find work in other artistic realms from album art and apparel design to most recently becoming the artistic director for the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team. Even with the World Cup just days away, the Empire State native still finds time to open a solo exhibition titled “Introspective” at the Magda Danysz Gallery in Paris. “In this exhibition, he presents powerful works combining the visual impact of his explosives colors and the dexterity of his drawing in his geometrical forms.” If you’re in the Paris area, be sure to check out Futura’s show opening June 14.
