New Balance Reportedly Suing Karl Lagerfeld

TMZ is reporting that New Balance is suing Karl Lagerfeld over the logo design used on the famed designer’s footwear collection. The logo in question, which can be seen in the Karl Lagerfeld sneakers above, bears a passing resemblance to New Balance’s classic ‘N’ logo, particularly in its placement and the way it is angled. The overall silhouette also looks somewhat similar to the New Balance 420 silhouette, so it’s understandable as to why New Balance would think this may cause some confusion.
