In an interview with The Guardian that was published earlier this month, singer Lana Del Rey stated “I wish I was dead already.” While she hasn’t accused the publication of misquoting her, it appears Lana isn’t too happy with the way they used the quote and feels the interviewer set her up for that response. Yesterday on Twitter, LDR said “I regret trusting the Guardian,” and continued on to say of the interviewer “His leading questions about death and persona were calculated.” While the tweets have since been deleted, you can see a screenshot of them below, along with the audio of Lana making the now infamous comment.
