It’s been a couple years since we’ve been graced by new work from Spank Rock, but the rapper hopes to fix that with his new slab of Baltimore bass “Gully.” Co-produced by Boys Noize & Kid Kamillion, “Gully” is all bass and boom, with the only thing really taking up space on the track being Spank Rock’s vocals. This production is all about those sweaty nights spent partying in warehouses, where you just need music to keep the dancefloor shaking and bodies moving. All three of the song’s co-conspirators keep the rhythms at a rate meant to match with the speed of a frenzied club set, and if this track catches on “Gully” should be selected as part of DJ sets from NYC to LA.
