Jay Leno‘s garage welcomes a new example of automotive bliss in the form of an ultra rare and high-powered 1956 Jaguar XKSS. The XKSS enjoys an interesting background, in which existing chassis from the LeMans-winning Jaguar D-Type race car were subsequently modify for American export after Jaguar pulled out of the legendary race. Minor modifications for both street legality and cosmetics meant the car itself was quite similar to its race-ready cousin. Only 16 such cars were ever made and sold largely in the United States, making its way into the hands of Steve McQueen. As often the case, Jay Leno makes sure to put the car through its paces around Los Angeles despite a perceived value upwards of $30 million USD.
