Audi A3 Clubsport Quattro Concept

In honor of this year’s edition of the performance-car showcase in the Austrian Alps, Audi has unveiled the A3 Clubsport Quattro Concept for the 2014 Wörthersee Tour. Based on the S3 and likely an indicator of what fans can expect from the upcoming RS3, the concept ditches the sedan’s 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine in favor of a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five capable of 525 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. As far as speed goes, the vehicle can reach speeds in excess of 190 mph after accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds. Additional details include everything from a retuned S3-based suspension to carbon-ceramic brakes and 21” wheels.
