Earl Sweatshirt - Chum (Left Brain Remix)

Courtesy of The FADER, here’s a Left Brain remix of OFWGKTA comrade Earl Sweatshirt‘s brooding Doris cut “Chum.” While still keeping the darker feel of the original intact, Left Brain opts for a funkier flip of the track. The blunted groove of Left Brain’s take on “Chum” could almost work as some sort of beat liberated from California’s Brainfeeder camp, and considering the close proximity regionally and artistically between the Odd Future crew and those involved with LA’s beat scene, it makes sense.
