adidas Unveils Chelsea FC's New 2014/15 Away Kit

When London’s famed Chelsea FC take the pitch away from Stamford Bridge later this year, the Blues will don a brand new away kit from adidas. Ditching the predominately white look of last season’s campaign, the 2014/15 away shirt takes inspiration from the famous yellow kits of the club’s past and looks to the likes of Peter Osgood in the 1960s and 1970s, Clive Walker in the 1980s, Gianfranco Zola in the 1990s, and Frank Lampard’s memorable winner in the 2009 FA Cup final against Everton. The result is a slick bright yellow design with with club’s signature blue accents throughout. The decidedly retro shirt will soon be available at adidas stockists alongside the Blues’ 2014/15 home kit and can be pre-ordered now via the club’s official online store.
