The Roots featuring Raheem Devaughn - Tomorrow

From their forthcoming 11th studio album …And Then You Shoot Your Cousin, The Roots deliver their latest single “Tomorrow” featuring the soulful Raheem DeVaughn on vocals. Accompanying their first single – “When the People Cheer” – that premiered earlier in the month, “Tomorrow” aligns with a conceptual theme for the album described by Black Thought as “It’s a satire, but in that satire it’s an analysis of some of the stereotypes perpetuated in not only the hip-hop community, but in the community. I don’t know if that makes any sense.” Although The Roots’ emcee may have a little difficulty in articulating the concept behind the new album, judging from the attached track, we’re certain he and his fellow bandmates will come with the heat as they always do.
