Though well-versed in nearly every major footwear brand’s canon, Sneaker Politics chose Reebok as its partner for its latest collaboration. The Louisiana-based retailer chose Reebok’s ever-popular Instapump Fury silhouette to execute a unique, texture-driven release. The “Rougarou” takes its name from a childhood fairytale popular in Lafayette, LA, which describes an imaginary werewolf-type character that kidnaps disobedient youth. Sneaker Politics represented the legendary beast with brown horsehide leather on the upper, laid over with black neoprene for superior fit. These forest-like colors are paired with speckled green and orange through the midsole and at the signature pump. Look for this pair to drop on April 11 at Sneaker Politics’ website and authorized Reebok retailers.
