Hit-Boy has come a long way from his Fontana, CA roots, and the IE rapper/producer and his HS87 crew are planning to release a compilation album entitled We The Plug on May 6. The first cut to be liberated from the project is entitled “Grindin’ My Whole Life,” and whereas most of Hit-Boy’s presence is usually dominated by his exceptional talents behind the boards, this track primarily showcases his and his crew’s own lives via some pretty solid flows. Of course, Hit-Boy can’t let a song attached to his name leave his vaults without flexing his beatmaking muscle, and he laces the song’s bars with some starry production that probably wouldn’t sound out of place on a major rapper’s new album.
