ASTR’s rework is both beholden to the new wave and pop of the eighties and the modern synth-pop making the blog rounds, and the pair also add a tropical touch to the original. This new take would do well in a club setting, and ASTR have given “Bridges” the ability detonate dance floors wherever glossy, manicured electronic sounds are accepted.
