Lily Allen Says Her New Music is "Rubbish"

Just recently, Lily Allen shared a look at her upcoming Sheezus project by unveiling the artwork and a peek at the official music video for “Our Time,” but it looks like Allen is not impressed with her own work as she recently responded in agreement to a critique from a fan. When a fan called her music “docile pop rubbish,” she responded with “what you’ve heard so far yes.”
@RFWilding what you’ve heard so far yes. All i can do is do my best, the labels and the radio stations won’t play the better stuff.

Although she might be in agreement with that critique in particular, Allen is keeping fans hopeful by encouraging them to “keep the faith” that the rest of her project will be well appreciated in comparison. Lily Allen’s Sheezus project is set to drop May 5 and will offer 11 tracks in total. Head here to watch the music video for “Our Time” and peep the tracklist to hold yourself over till then.
