Opting to rework the shoemaker’s classic GL 6000 runner, the Burn Rubber co-owner chose a premium leather construction embossed with the Distinct Life camouflage. Additional details include ballistic nylon, suede, a two-tone midsole, and a gum-colored outsole. As mentioned, this collaborative sneaker will drop alongside the inaugural collection of Williams’ Distinct Life Dry Goods apparel brand. With noticeable athletic influences, DLDG is offering a range that includes hoodies, T-shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts and headwear. Both the Reebok GL 6000 and apparel will release exclusively at Burn Rubber in Detroit on February 14, while other top-tier boutiques will begin retailing said sneaker on the 28.
