Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter V' Is Coming Soon...It Seems

Although he has been rather silent about it, Lil Wayne‘s fifth installment of his highly successful Tha Carter series might arrive very soon. According to Cash Money Records Vice President of Promotion Mel Smith, Weezy’s allegedly final album is near but its exact release date is set to be a surprise.

“We’re very close to dropping the album. It’s going to be a huge surprise to everyone; it’s an incredible album. … I can’t release the date because [Wayne] wants to surprise people; he wants his true fanbase to get excited but he’s worked extremely hard on it and you won’t be disappointed.”

Hands down. The wording offers a lot of room for speculation so it is hard to predict what exactly is being prepped at the moment, but make sure you stay tuned.
