Now, instead of waiting for big-time news outlets to post their own recaps, realtime viewing is the norm as everything from backstage imagery to looks at a show’s audience and the runway itself have become the ubiquitous norm. Faced with a wall of screens everywhere, Racked recently took an inside look at the changes at New York Fashion Week, checking out Tommy Hilfiger’s “InstaMeet,” hitting the backstage scene at Kenneth Cole, and catching insights from PAPER‘s Mickey Boardman on the way in which the industry is reacting to the current glut of social media.
