adidas Originals 2014 Spring ZX 7000

One of the more underrated models of the ZX line, the ZX 7000, is making a return this spring with the reissue of two OG colorways as a part of adidas Originals‘ “adi Archive” collection. Originally released in 1989, the tech-savy runner employees both the patented Torsion system and Softcell technoloy for midfoot rigidity and plush cushioning, respectively. Draped in a breathable combo of mesh and synthetics, the release is capped off with a massive external heel counter – long a defining feature of the ZX range. Both of the retro colorways pictured here are set to hit spots like Caliroots.com this Saturday, February 15.
