A Bathing Ape follows last season’s TYPE 1 and TYPE 2 BAPEX drops with yet another Rolex-inspired watch for Spring 2014: the TYPE 16. Taking after the beloved Rolex Explorer II, BAPE’s version of the 1971 release pairs a stainless steel case and bracelet with white and black dials, a date window, and a 24-hour bezel for a second timezone. Retailing for ¥41,790 JPY (approximately $407 USD), the TYPE 16 BAPEX is now available via BAPE‘s Japanese web store.
