YI Select Store 2014 Fall/Winter Lookbook

Formed by the Taiwan-based Instyle Group only last December, Taipei concept retail store YI Select Store has released its 2014 fall/winter editorial lookbook conveying this season’s main themes and inspirations. With a focus on minimalist and low-key pieces, this season’s editorial lookbook showcases a curated collection chosen from the newest fall/winter offerings of the many labels featured within the store, including KTZ, Lost & Found, Marcelo Burlon, Ma Julius and Christian Dada. Additionally, brands like Silent by Damir Doma, Julius, Drkshdw, Parts of Four and UEG also make an appearance.

Heavily influenced by a particular brand of dark theatricality, the featured cold-weather silhouettes align perfectly with the concept streetwear store’s edgy grunge aesthetic. YI Select Store also opened its new pop-up store recently at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store A9 shopping complex in Taipei Xinyin Area, which has been done in the same style of the main Da’an store. Modeled after a medieval horse stable, the interior marries street vibes and dramatic shadow play, with its wooden wall paneling, exposed concrete and metal grille skylights. In addition to its physical locations, YI Select Store’s many offerings are also available from its online storefront.
