Say it ain’t so. If you thought Tyga leaving was no biggie, long-time label icon and platinum-selling rapper Lil Wayne may also be on his way out the door. Fed up with Cash Money’s handling of his oft delayed Carter V, Weezy took to Twitter to pour out his anger and desire to leave the company that he’s helped build since he was nine years old. In a string of tweets Lil Wayne blames Cash Money Records co-founder and father figure, Birdman, for refusing to release his eleventh studio project which is scheduled for a December 9 release. Hopefully this all gets settled soon, but in the mean time here’s what was posted today:
