visvim's "Aging and Authenticity: Social Sculpture Denim" Exhibition Focuses on Unwashed Raw Denim

Japan’s visvim has announced that it will hold an exhibition showcasing a wide range of unwashed raw denim, and worn-in denim samples from the head designer Hiroki Nakamura himself at its flagship store in Omotesando. Titled “Aging and Authenticity: Social Sculpture Denim,” the event will give brand enthusiasts an opportunity to see a variety of denim worn in from a rigid state, with longtime visvim supporter Eric Clapton also scheduled to make an appearance. The continued development has lead to the expansion of visvim’s seasonal denim offerings, and this is a unique opportunity to see all of it come together in one place. The exhibition opens on December 10 and runs through to December 26, and for those of you in the area this is a must-attend event.
