Thanks to its raw, simplistic aesthetics and clever creative projects, Stockholm-based eyewear brand Monokel has quickly generated a strong following around the globe. In it’s latest campaign dubbed #TRUEDITIONS, the brand has partnered with photographer Crista Leonard to investigate five myths that surround Scandinavian summers, including “The Dancing License,” “Midsummer,” “Freedom to Roam,” “Nude Sunday” and “Midnight Sun.” Although we’ve presented an abbreviated look at the project above, #TRUEDITIONS can be seen in full at Monokel’s official webpage and will be released as a book in early spring at select stockists.
