Coming as no surprise to many, iTunes has dubbed Pharrell‘s 2014 smash hit “Happy” as its top selling song of the year. The nod is one of many noteworthy distinctions the Academy Award nominated single has received over the course of the last year. In fact, with over ten million downloads worldwide, “Happy” has been certified as one of the best selling singles in history. Other winners from iTunes yearly round-up include Beyonce who won Best Artist, Taylor Swift with Best Album for her work on 1989, and Logic winning Best Rap Album for Under Pressure.
