Nike Air Max "Kabutomushi" Collection

Here we take a first look at the “Kabutomushi” pack for the Nike Air Max. Consisting of the Air Max Lunar 1, Air Max Lunar 90 and Air Max 95, the inspiration behind this distinct endeavor originates from the Japanese rhinoceros beetle, commonly referred to as “Kabutomushi” in Japanese. Each pair sports the same loud Anthracite, Team Orange and Catalina colorway, intermixed with a safari print midsole, which symbolically represents the Japanese beetle’s metallic hardened shell.  The Nike Air Max “Kabutomushi” Collection is tentatively set to hit Japanese retailers on December 27. In the meantime, stay tuned for any word regarding a global release.
