Mercedes-Benz unveils the GLE 450 AMG, a mid-size luxury crossover vehicle which combines the sporty dynamics of a coupé with the robustness and versatility of an SUV. Mercedes’ response to BMW‘s X6 is likely to polarize opinions of car enthusiasts around the world but for customers looking for the best of both worlds, this car is likely to be at the top of the list. The elevated seating position and all-round view gives passengers the feel of an SUV, while the performance and flowing side contours are reminiscent of sporty Mercedes-Benz models. The interior of the car features carbon fiber trimmings, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, and a large tablet-like display along the center console, offering up a similar touch-controlled interface found in the C-Class. From a performance aspect, the GLE 450 does not disappoint with its 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine pumping out 362 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque.
