Flying Lotus will Pair with KAYTRANADA on BBC Radio 1′s Residency

BBC Radio 1’s Residency will begin again on January 8, featuring a strong cast of producers and DJs. This time around, you will find Flying Lotus pairing with KAYTRANADA, which will air in the two slots on Thursday nights from 10pm to 1am. On this, Flying Lotus states, “I still can’t believe this is about to happen. It’ll be a pleasure to invade the UK airwaves for the months ahead.” KAYTRANADA proclaims his excitement, “During my high school days, I used to listen to my favourite DJs mixes on BBC and now, here I am. I’m going to play the best music for y’all.” Other pairings to be included are Jon Hopkins and George Fitzgerald, Skream and Hannah Wants, and Heidi and Solomun. DJs and producers who unfortunately are not returning are Moxie, Sohn, Jackmaster, Martin Garrix, Steve Angello and James Blake. Be on the lookout for this.
