NPR has premiered a new song from TDE’s resident songstress, SZA. “Sobriety” features production from Thundercat, Sounwave, Chris Calor, LoveDragon and Cody, with Thundercat’s virtuosic bass-work especially noticeable. It’s a very personal, somber offering from SZA, who lays all her demons bare on the track. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter tackles a bunch of personal subjects on “Sobriety,” from family issues to struggles with smoking too much.
