New Balance adds to its collection of contemporary nods to the American-made 990 of the 1980s with the M990CBO for Fall/Winter 2014. Draped in black suede and mesh with reddish-brown nubuck and stark white leather applications, the drop stays true to the tech specs of the original 990 and retains its dual-denisty midsole and rugged Vibram-constructed outsole. The M990CBO will be available from the likes of Melbourne’s Up There Store beginning December 1 for $240 USD.
