Coinciding with Ne.Sense‘s 2014 holiday editorial campaign titled “Vast,” the Taiwanese label has joined forces with Paris-via-New-York photographer Julian Boudet, also known as Bleumode, for its holiday lookbook. Known for capturing decisive style moments from global fashion weeks, Bleumode takes his deftness behind the lens to this stunning seaside setting. Sleek silhouettes from the likes of Chapter, Cmmn Swdn, I Love Ugly, Stampd, Song for the Mute, Soulland, and Stutterheim are completed by the beautifully eroded sediments and rocks that make up this coastline backdrop.
Focusing on the subtle line-work and details in each garment that complement the rocky landscape, the lookbook – much like Ne.Sense’s Taiwan store – builds from the organic themes found in nature’s offerings. Made up of a mix of both traditional and technical pieces, Ne.Sense exhibits the myriad of styling possibilities created from the pairing of blazers, crop pants and bombers, while decidedly torn jeans and military parkas exude riffs of rebelliousness elsewhere.
