Lyle & Scott 2014 Fall/Winter Festive Range

In anticipation of the forthcoming 2014 fall/winter season and the jovial times it brings, Lyle & Scott has launched its debut festive range to accommodate the special occasion. As one would expect from a holiday collection, the made-in-Scotland sweaters feature 100% lambswool and utilize three different craft-knitting techniques for a nostalgic yet contemporary aesthetic. Consisting of three unique styles inspired by a snowflake motif from the brand’s illustrious archive, the large abstract design is constructed using the intarsia knitting method, while the small microscopic theme is knitted by the float-back jacquard technique. Last but not least, the snowflake piece is made using the bird’s-eye jacquard technique that speaks to the label’s roots in heritage. Finishing touches include specially designed labeling and ticketing as well as gold stitching and embossed snowflakes to further reinforce the feeling of the festive season. This limited edition range is now available exclusively at Lyle & Scott’s Carnaby Street location in London and its online store for $200 USD each.
