Ekkah - Last Chance to Dance (Velour Remix)

Julio Bashmore and Hyetal have reprised their Velour project for a new remix of Ekkah‘s “Last Chance to Dance.” This is the second time we’ve seen the pair come together this year, having released a 12” under the Velour moniker earlier in the year. Today’s rework comes in support of the release of Ekkah’s Last Chance to Dance EP, which served as the UK duo’s debut project. Bashmore and Hyetal have repurposed “Last Chance to Dance” into a darker-toned production ideal for warehouse and club dancefloors everywhere, completely restyling the slick, funky pop of the original. The duo have made the song their own, and considering Bashmore has his debut LP coming out in a few months, it makes sense that’s he flexing his muscle behind the boards.
