Jamie xx, Four Tet, John Talabot & Koreless Produce Music for Art Short Film

If you remember her work for Jamie xx‘s “Sleep Sound” video, you’ll have an idea of director Sofia Mattiolli’s fascination with the creation of music through silence and sound. For her recent project Continuum, an abstract art piece shot solely with her iPhone, she has enlisted Jamie xx, Four Tet, John Talabot, and Koreless to compose two-minute pieces for a soundtrack that will accompany this silent short film. “While the silent video plays, what I want everyone to do is go into their own space in their own head, and imagine the piece of music they would put with it,” says Mattioli.
