If you ever went to or followed any of the Outkast 20-year reunion tours half a year ago, you’ll definitely notice André 3000‘s 47 custom social-commentary-message jumpsuits during his performances. Thankfully, they will be more than a fragment of a concertgoer’s memory; the Savannah College of Art and Design teamed up with the legendary Atlantan rapper with the “i feel ya: SCAD + André 3000 Benjamin” exhibition, taking place in Miami, FL from December 3 to 14. Curated by Laurie Ann Farrell, Three Stack’s jumpsuits will be displayed alongside works of filmmaker Greg Brunkalla and painter Jimmy O’Neal, all for the purpose of initiating socially dynamic conversation on the topic of language and context. Oh yeah, did we also mention that it’s free and open to everyone? Check out some of his jumpsuits here in #ATLast, OutKast’s homecoming concert last month.
