NOWNESS Presents: Cars by Shaniqwa Jarvis

Shaniqwa Jarvis presents a short film exploring the aesthetics of classic mid-century automobiles in this period short film set in sunny Los Angeles. Split into the format of three short stories, the New York native and frequent Supreme collaborator earnestly portrays the wide streets, green lawns, and a deeply-embedded love of cars that defines the identity of the Californian city, in this self-described “ode to Los Angeles.” Some of the personalities featured include Union’s Chris Gibbs, Howard Nourmand and Victor Saldana.
