The Good Will Out x ASICS Gel Lyte V "Koyo"

German retailer The Good Will Out has teamed up with ASICS to produce a special edition of the Gel-Lyte V silhouette. Dubbed “Koyo,” the shoe pays homage to the colors of Japanese autumn leaves – an equivalent to what cherry blossoms are to spring. Comprised of a premium nubuck leather in a deep burgundy with perforations on the toe and underlays, we find contrasting ASICS branding in yellow and grey on the mid panels. The sneaker sits atop a white midsole with drips of grey towards the rear, while the outsole features hits of yellow, red and grey. Finishing touches include a structured leather panel on the heel, reminiscent of the spines on leaves and a sockliner with an all-over leaf print. Sold in a limited edition package and coming with three pairs of extra laces, the shoe will only be available at the The Good Will Out in Cologne, Germany on October 18, with a general release worldwide on October 25.
