After getting glimpses of the forthcoming Slam Dunk x Jordan Brand collaboration through a couple of teasers, we now have a look at the complete collection. The lineup encompasses a range of apparel as well as unique takes on the Air Jordan VI and Jordan Super.Fly 3 silhouettes. The pack features motifs that illustrate the narrative of Sakuragi’s story, which hasn’t been in development since ‘96. The release celebrates both brands’ cult following. As Gemo Wong, Energy Director for Jordan Brand says, “Using a legacy shoe like the iconic Air Jordan VI, as well as our latest performance model in the Jordan Super.Fly 3, served as the perfect vehicle to highlight the past and present.” The accompanying apparel offerings include a red tee with Sakuragi’s player number, a white tee with a sketch of the player, and a black cap with an embroidered “10” on the front, while the back adorns “Shohuku.” This Slam Dunk x Jordan collection will be available in select Asian markets on October 18, followed by a global release on November 1.
