Nike Unveils the New Mercurial Superfly CR7 for Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo is set to debut his new Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 for his match this weekend. Designed specifically for speed, the boot incorporates a dynamic fit collar that ensures the player is locked down at full speed while the micro-textured Flyknit upper provides greater ball control as it brings everything closer to the ground. A highly responsive carbon-fiber plate on the underside is then utilized to allow powerful changes in all directions. Rounding things out is the shimmer effect that was developed through a new iteration of NIKESKIN technology to represent the shimmering effect on the pitch when under the sun or under lights. Available in both a high and low version, which allows players to decide their optimum collar height, the boot is set to release exclusively through the Nike Football App for iOS and Android from October 23. A general release will then be available at Nike’s online store from October 24.
