MC Lyte featuring Common - Dear John

Veteran rappers MC Lyte and Common have just premiered the visual translation for their empowering “Dear John” single that serves as a message to men of color worldwide to stand strong despite setbacks and the everyday chaos around them. The video pays tribute to world–famous and world-changing African American figures of today and from our past, while also displaying photos of fathers spending time with their children. As mentioned before, the song is the anthem for #EducateOURMen, the scholarship initiative of Lyte’s Hip-Hop Sisters foundation.
