Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter V' & Nicki Minaj's 'The Pinkprint' Pushed Back

Following an already dismal year in rap album sales comes the latest news of album delays from both Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. According to Billboard, Nicki Minaj’s highly anticipated third solo album The Pinkprint has been pushed back to December 15 with no further word from her team while Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V has suspended indefinitely. While Wayne has shared numerous album teasers like “D’usse,” “Grindin,” and “Krazy,” MTV has reported no further information about why Tha Carter V’s release has been axed. Fans can briefly rejoice as tomorrow Nicki Minaj will release the track “Only” that features Weezy along with Drake and Chris Brown. However, this will be the last release from either of these artists for some time so audiences better take note.
