Music Essentials: Le Castle Vania

Dylan Eiland, also known as electronic producer/DJ Le Castle Vania, has been on a tear for years now. From warehouse parties in Atlanta to underground raves in the outlying enclaves of Los Angeles county to Hollywood nightclubs, he’s performed everywhere. Along the way, he’s had several strong remixes of originals that have become staples in sets of DJ’s across the globe. As he continues to work away in the studio, prepping new tracks and planning new touring endeavors, we caught up with Eiland for a new installment of Essentials.
For his stab at Essentials, Eiland showcased the tools needed for creating his sounds, alongside his favorite sandwich, his beloved denim vest, and sticker representation. He also keeps a Mac Book Pro, Neumann TLM 103 Microphone, Brent Averill Neve 1272 Pre Amp, Novation 49SL MK2 USB/MIDI controller, and Real Tube Stomp Box for purposes of recording and creation. Other than that, everything is kept selectively simple. He has a custom denim vest and hoodie combo that he feels particularily connected to, an Always Never snapback, some well-branded stickers, and a grilled cheese sandwich. Where would he even be without that grilled cheese sandwich?
