Still riding the notoriety from his latest release, Bishop Nehru has already secured a high profile artist to back his next album. Bishop’s latest project, a collab with artist DOOM entitled NehruvianDoom, was released to varying acclaim on September 24, yet the 18-year-old has already procured infamous New York rapper Nas as executive producer for his next album. In addition to Nasir Jones, the album will also feature “a variety of high-profile artists and producers,” and will be released via Mass Appeal. Nas created a slew of rumors after pronouncing his faith in Bishop at last year’s SXSW and labeling him “the future of music.” The anticipation for this emerging artist will only intensify over the coming months.
