Apple‘s long-rumored October 16 event is now indeed a reality as the Cupertino tech giant recently sent out media invites for the occasion. The event, which will take place at Apple’s Northern California headquarters, is expected to showcase the brand new successor to the iPad Air along with new gold iPad options, a Retina-equipped iMac, and the official launch of both OS X Yosemite and Apple Pay.
