Apple to Unveil the New iPad October 16

Having recently reported the rumored release of a gold iPad, the latest word from Cupertino is that Apple plans to deliver a special announcement regarding its beloved tablet on Thursday, October 16, keeping in line with its previous October iPad unveilings. With sales down the last two quarters, many Apple and tech enthusiasts alike were quite surprised when the brand’s flagship tablet didn’t attend Tim Cook’s September keynote, one in which the iPhone 6 and Apple Watch took center stage. So what could it be revealing? Some say a bigger iPad, the addition of a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, an A8 processor and as mentioned, a gold version.
